Who I AM
My name is Gwendolyn and I have owned cats, dogs, gerbils, hamsters, etc. my entire 23 years of life. I have always had a strong connection with animals and enjoy the outdoors. In typical fashion I decided to make them my entire reason for my existence. The care of your fur babies is my career, and I am home 24/7 to provide them, and my own, with the love and care they deserve. During my spare time I volunteer at the Saratoga County Animal Shelter. I have experience administering medication and can give basic grooming care for both cats and dogs.

What to Expect
At Wags N’ Whiskers you can expect above and beyond care for your fur babies at a reasonable rate. I strive to keep your pets happy, healthy, and both mentally and physically stimulated under 24/7 supervision. Wags N’ Whiskers is a kennel-free alternative to larger kennel facilities. You can rest easy knowing your furry loved ones are safe and in capable hands. I give each pet one long walk per day around the rural area of Porter Corners and have outdoor trolleys for potty and outdoor playtime. If you allow me to, I will send you lots of pictures of your pets having fun with other playmates. I keep the group small, preferably three dogs at a time.
The cats are free to roam as they would like though all cat toys and activities are upstairs to keep away from the doggy guests on the first floor.
Because I board in my own home, kennel free, it is important to set up a meet and greet beforehand. I have to know your pet(s) will be okay with other cats and dogs. It is also important for me to know whether or not your pet is crate trained or enjoys car rides in the event I need to make a quick run to the store. I cannot leave them unsupervised in good faith. Last but not least I would like to know your pets’ vaccination status and whether or not they are showing symptoms before they board at my home. All the information I need before your furry friends’ stay will be given to me, by you, and signed at the end of the meet and greet should you want to proceed.
